It’s hard to beat just sitting on the dock watching the loons or casting a line, leaving your city cares behind, but it’s nice to know that every cottage country attraction is available nearby. From boating, water sports, and swimming to free concerts at the locks, cottage country shops and patio dining, the beautiful Bobcaygeon area offers it all.

Settlers’ Village - Home to a fascinating collection of over 20 historic buildings. Experience what life was like for pioneers. The annual Craft Beer & Food Festival in August is a must go.

Boyd Museum - View hidden treasures and learn the history of Bobcaygeon.

Lindsay Twin Drive-In Theatre - One of only 37 drive-in theatres left in Canada, the drive-in experience is a must for summer vacation fun.

HIghland Cinema Kinmount - A unique complex and movie paraphernalia collection nestle in the bush with the comfort of big city cinemas, not to be missed.

The Bobcaygeon Music Council presents Free Concerts in the Park on Thursday Evenings at the Lock 32 gazebo.  Children’s entertainment at 5:30 and for adults at 6:30 to 8:00. 

Midnight Madness, Bolton Street in Bobcaygeon is closed to vehicle traffic during the evening of August 3rd. Enjoy shopping, entertainment and dining.

No trip to Bobcaygeon would be complete without a stop at the Kawartha Dairy, with dozens of flavours to choose from you won’t be disappointed.

Don’t forget to visit historic Lock 32 in Bobcaygeon — relax on a bench and watch the world float by at the busiest lock on the Trent Severn Waterway.
